This rare 16mm COLOR(Kodachrome) footage of Seoul was filmed in
March 1938, by Thor Wiestlandt, a Swedish diplomat who stayed in Japan
from 1936 to 1939.
It was discovered in the Film & Video
Archive of Brighton University, UK in 2004.
The footage contains
the scenes of two palaces in Seoul (Changgyonggung Palace and
Gyeongbokgung Palace, Korean; 창경궁, 경복궁), and some rural areas and people
near seoul.
